Hoji cha

The leaves of this green tea have been roasted at a high temperature, which gives the tea a coffee-like colour and a pleasant nutty flavour. Due to this roasting process, Hojicha is very low in caffeine. This tea is ideal for accompanying meals and perfect for drinking in the evening.

Add 5g of Hojicha to 180–200ml of 80–85°C water. Steep for 30–45 seconds, strain, and enjoy.
