Mecha

This green tea comes from a collection of Gyokuro leaf buds harvested in different seasons. Mecha is a type of Japanese green tea made from collecting only the buds of the tea leaves. The buds are separated from the leaves during the Gyokuro production process. Since the buds are young leaves, mecha has an extremely concentrated umami taste and marine notes.

Add 5g of Mecha to 180–200ml of water at 60–65°C. Infuse for 90 to 120 seconds, strain, and enjoy.
